POST 8 - A Subject you enjoy studying

During this semester my favorite subject was Orchestration. Undoubtedly. Well actually the line of orchestration has always been my favorite thema of my career. This consists of learning about the different instruments of the orchestra, their physical and acoustic characteristics, as well as the way in which they have been used throughout history. With this we manage to learn how we can write a good and coherent work for orchestra, where all the instruments are perfectly written or, on the other hand, we can transform a small piece into an orchestral type. During classes we do various things; We analyze scores by various composers and review the topics we are learning in that particular case, we also carry out activities that consist of converting pieces of one, two or three instruments into orchestral works and we review our successes and weaknesses during class. POST 7 - How can your mayor make the world a better place

Wow, that's a really tough question, especially for an artist. Is there a way to answer this without sounding really cheesy? Haha! I think that from the composition and from the arts in general what is delivered is a product for enjoyment and leisure, something that is often undervalued, but in an increasingly fast-paced, stressful and demanding world, it is requested in droves. I suppose that we artists are there to remind everyone that not everything has a specific meaning, that not everything is done for something, that the simple fact of imagining without reason, of arbitrarily meddling in other worlds is part of our essence as human beings. The funny thing about this matter is that I think that artists have always done that.  I think that if we invite people to create in any type of language, in this case music, we are giving them tools to give them freedom, to think, to imagine, for whatever it really is.
